Too much "Bling!" is never a good thing. To counter the effect of larger, embellished earrings, placing a simple, yet stunning stud in the second and/or third pierced holes in an ear will add a bit of extra sparkle without taking anything away from the primary pair, or making the earrings look overdone and gaudy.
